Dr. Kim Cooper

Dr. Kim Cooper is residency trained to diagnose, manage and treat ocular diseases and visual disorders in adults and children. With over 15 years of experience in patient eye care, contact lenses, visual disorders, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease and macular degeneration, she provides complete and quality eye care. Her expertise includes specialty contact lenses and treating dry eye disease.
Dr. Cooper graduated as valedictorian from Michigan College of Optometry. She completed her residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at Dorn VA Hospital in Columbia, SC. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) and is an active member of the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO), Council on Optometric Practitioner Education (COPE), Accreditation Council on Optometric Education (ACOE), American Optometric Association (AOA), and the Michigan Optometric Association (MOA). She has articles published in ophthalmic journals, lectured on various ophthalmic conditions, and trained optometric interns and residents.
As creator of Life Vision Eyecare, Dr. Cooper has embarked on a new journey which enables her to apply her extensive experience to provide the highest standard of care. Dr. Cooper is excited to serve Southwest Michigan. She is proud to provide and protect vision with innovative medical and science-based natural treatments with emphasis on personalized care and quality eyewear.

Ryan has been a Certified Optician through the State of Michigan for over 15 years. He is extremely knowledgeable when troubleshooting adjustments and visual issues with glasses. Plus, he has a gift of finding the perfect pair of glasses for anyone's facial features and personality!

Breena is here to help you navigate questions about the process of an eye exam and insurance questions. She is currently working on becoming a Certified Professional Biller to better serve our patients. Our patients love Breena because she is genuine, kind and always follows through to find an answer in the ever changing environment of insurances.

Luke has over 14 years of experience in optometry. He is a Certified Optician through the State of Michigan and now currently in training to become a Certified Paraoptometric Technician. He is able to answer any questions regarding Dry Eye Consults, Myopia Management and Scleral Lens Therapy.

Philip is the designer and architect of Life Vision Eyecare. He is responsible for the beautiful clinic our patients enjoy. He manages the optical inventory and helps run the backbone of the practice. Life Vision Eyecare is a family owned business and dedicated to our team and our patients. We believe certification of our staff is critical in serving our patients and holds our clinic to a higher standard of care.

Sara is our newest addition to Life Vision Eyecare, but she is no stranger to serving in health care. Her experience in patient care adds compassion and knowledge to help our patients through the process of an eye exam. She aids our patients with new and existing exam appointments, triaging urgent eye exams, insurance questions and general questions to facility patient eye care needs.
